UK Sunlight C8 eLED Plus Dive Light It starts with a unique dual power electronic circuit to control the matched pair of 5 watt white LEDs. The technological breakthrough behind the C8 eLED Plus is its through the lens heat sink: For every one degree drop in temperature, the light increases its lumen output by two percent. When immersed in water the heat is drained from the LEDs improving the unit’s lumen rating by 10 to 15 percent. Offering more than twice the output of its predecessor the original C8 eLED, the new C8 eLED Plus weighs in at a mere 39 ounces, runs up to ten hours, and is depth rated to 500 feet.

Polarized battery contact plates make it possible to interchange individual battery cells and rechargeable packs as well as prevent potentially dangerous reverse battery insertion. The rubber lens guard, non breakable locking switch and interchangeable handles are examples of diver hardened construction throughout.
